1 Slice any few lemon wedges and place it in each container; the size about the container dictates how quite a few lemon wedges you need. Deal with and seal the container(s) by their lids plus leave them to sit from direct sunshine. The incoming light combined with the lemon juice frequently can rid the containers of the lingering odor.

3 Fill each container with just enough water to insure the bottom about the containers. Location a teaspoon or two of baking soda into the containers, and combine the soda into the water. Use any old (and clean) toothbrush to scrub the sides and bottom of the container to get rid of smells and remove stains. This technique remains especially efficient with containers that contained tomato-based sauces.
