Via manually syncing your iPod, you can stay away from losing any music.
Syncing your iPod without erasing the other music that is yous stored on it is essential to learn if you wish to adjust your iPod's music constantly. The default setting on an iPod syncs automatically. Still when the iPod syncs, it will erase any songs that aren't on the library. To prevent songs from being erased away from your iPod, adjust iTunes to sync songs manually instead.

1 Turn on your computer and open iTunes.
2 Make sure that is you have no songs on your iPod that is are not in your library since these will be erased when you link the iPod. Connect your
iPod using the USB lead.
4 Uncheck the box on the left about "Sync only checked songs plus videos" within the base center of the screen. Check the box on the left of "Manually manage music and videos."
5 Drag any tunes or albums you wish to import onto your iPod into the mini-iPod icon from the remaining-palm column, down below the "Devices" header.
Tips & Warnings
To organize your music library, choose "Library" from the file menu, then "Organize Library." Organizing your library in music, movies, Tv presents etc. will support you better manage your iPod's contents manually.
Manage never disconnect your iPod out of the computer without clicking on the upward-pointing arrow to the right of the tiny iPod icon first. Failure to create so could result in loss of data.
